On Saturday, June 17, Great American Homes will open the first-of-its-kind 55+ housing development, 1776® Gastonia, to the public. 1776® is a trademarked brand specific to housing that blends patriotism, the American dream, and the founding ideals of the United States. The community, located 30 minutes outside of Charlotte, will feature 43 homes constructed for those 55+.
1776® Gastonia is the first of many 1776® developments across the country. Great American Homes will be expanding the housing development to other states. The company will also recruit other neighborhoods and homeowner’s associations to license the 1776® brand and standards into their communities.
What: 1776® Gastonia Grand Opening Celebration
Great American Homes invites the public for an all-American Grand Opening of 1776® Gastonia. Guests will be treated to a parade through the neighborhood leading to a reception area where they will hear from community leaders and Great American Homes while enjoying music, food, and spirits.
