1776® Gastonia: A New Housing Development Celebrating Patriotism and the American Dream
Great American Homes, a new company founded by NewStyle Communities, an Epcon Communities franchise, is excited to announce the launch of 1776® Gastonia, a 55+ housing development in Gastonia, North Carolina. The 1776® brand, a trademarked symbol of residential housing, combines patriotism, the American dream, and the founding ideals of the United States. Located just 30 minutes from Charlotte, the community will feature 43 homes designed for active retirees. Lots will be available for sale in March.
1776® Gastonia is the first of many planned 1776® communities across the country. Great American Homes plans to expand the 1776® brand to other states and collaborate with other home builders and homeowner’s associations to license the 1776® standards. While each community will honor American traditions and values, the key visible standard for homeowners is flying the American flag on their front porch throughout the year – an integral feature included with every 1776® home.

1776® Gastonia is setting a new precedent for future developments. The community will host a variety of events, including farmers’ markets, speaker sessions, and celebrations of American holidays. In line with its mission, each 1776® community will also donate a home to a disabled veteran.
